Policy Requoting FAQ
How is the requoting process triggered?
Policy Requoting will be triggered by a renewal premium increase. The premium increase threshold is configurable by clients. Once the Renewal Reviews process is complete, it will reassign activities for which the renewing policy met the configured premium increase threshold to the Policy Requoting capability. This will automatically initiate the requoting process.
What data is the Policy Requoting capability using to generate quotes?
The primary source of underwriting data will be Epic; however, the capability will also leverage data that exists in ARS if applicable.
How will Policy Requoting manage data that may be missing in Epic?
For data points that may be missing, the capability will leverage an existing quote in ARS if available. If an existing quote is not available, it will leverage defaults/placeholder values.
Quandri will flag if any relevant data points were missing or if defaults/placeholder values were used on the quote summary report.
Will Policy Requoting adjust coverages for new quotes?
Policy Requoting can automatically select certain coverages, if configured by the client. For example, clients can configure Policy Requoting to always select GRC, service line, overland water and single limit coverages when performing quotes for Homeowner policies.
How will the quote results be presented in Epic once quotes are generated?
Once the capability has generated quotes in ARS, it will download the relevant quote sheets and extract the quoted premiums.
In Epic, the top three competitive quotes will be highlighted in the activity note.
The following quote sheets will be directly attached to the insured(s) account in Epic:
- Carrier Summary
- Carrier Detail
- Underwriting Detail
- Carrier Comparison
