Policy Requoting Implementation Guide
To begin the configuration of your Quandri Policy Requoting capability, here is what your Implementation Manager will require:
1. SDK Access [For Applied Epic Only]
Setup of Epic custom SDK is required for Quandri. This requires consultation with your Applied Epic representative to set up with your IT team.
Quandri requires:
- Service URL (aka API endpoint)
- Authorization key
- Database Name
You can set up the Epic SDK integration directly in the Quandri platform by following these instructions.
2. Requoting Epic User Code [For Applied Epic Only]
Please create a Requoting Epic User Code (this does not require a license).
- From the Locate account dropdown, select Employee
- Click the + button add an employee account
- Complete the Employee Name (First and Last) fields
- Account name and Lookup code will automatically generate upon finishing
- Complete Email 1
- Select the correct Structure
- Click Finish

3. Email Account on your Email Domain
- Create an email inbox hosted on your domain (ex. quandriquoting@youragency.com).
- Use this email address to create logins for each carrier portal.
- The Quandri team will require access to this inbox, as well as permission to configure email forwarding for carriers that use email-based multi-factor authentication (MFA).
4. Provide Carrier Portal Access/Credentials
Your Quandri Implementation Manager will provide a list of supported carriers for the states in which you write. Please create a user for each carrier portal. If the carrier portal requires MFA, default to authenticator app and let your Implementation Manager set it up. If authenticator app is not an option, select email MFA and point it at the email address you created in Step 3.
For each carrier, you will need the following:
- Username
- Please use the username syntax “AgencyName_Quandri” where possible or similar, ensuring your agency name is included.
- Password
- Secret key for MFA (if applicable)
- Agency code
5. New Carrier or Carrier-State Onboarding
For any new carriers or carriers in states we do not currently support, your Implementation Manager will provide you with a list. For each of these “carrier-state” combinations, complete the steps below.
Step 1: Provide carrier portal access/credentials as described in Step 4 above.
Step 2: Assign an agent—or multiple agents—to spend approximately one hour on each carrier–state combination above. They will need to record their screen while completing real renewal quotes and narrate each step as if they were training a new hire. For each carrier–state combination, the recording must include at least:
- One home quote
- One auto quote
- One home and auto package quote
For further instructions, refer to the document below as well as this sample recording.
The more examples are better, particularly when they show different risks, coverages, or portal paths. These recordings will be used to accelerate the onboarding for new “carrier-states” for your agency.
Step 3: Upload the videos to a secure upload link that will be provided by your Implementation Manager.
Note: Quandri can onboard new “carrier-states” without the recordings from your team, but having the recordings from your team significantly accelerates this is the fastest way for us to complete onboarding so you can begin quoting with those carriers.
